Patagonia makes clothing for a variety of outdoor sports including, climbing, skiing, snowboarding, surfing, fly fishing, mountain biking and trail running. Patagonia started as a company that produced tools for climbers and eventually evolved into developing clothing for a wider market. 


Patagonia has many strengths, including:

  • Their product design focuses on minimalism and utility

    • function, repairability, and, foremost, durability.

  • Their goal is to reduce their environmental impact,

    • They have 20 years of using organic cotton

    • They are fair trade certified

    • All products on their website, lists what materials were used​​​
